Sheila Eats Namibia

O Portuga has always been one of those places you drove past in the taxi when being dropped off in Eros....I recently withdrew life savings and ventured into the unknown... to my delight i found a a world of delicious food and lovely service ( shout out to Rosa and Poppikie from Saturdays shift!)
Grilled fish...it leapt of the plate into my mouth. You actually go and choose it from the fish tank and then they lead itgently to the grill to meet its end!! Thats how fresh it was.....They serve it with a light lemon garlic infused olive oil...So good so good
Served with Pap and tomato spinach "a La Lubango"It taste just as the matron at the camp would make it, and even better....
Desert Granadilla Cheesecake...Kumwe is the only word i know in Angolian ( Portugese) and so I was lost for words when this desert came round my way. i only remebmered to take pics once it was halfway in my digestive system...Its fresh, fluffy and delicious puree of granadine gives a crisp but refreshing after taste...not need for Smoothie mint after this one!

My boss took us for lunch to oPortuga ystd. They moved from Eros to Klein Whk where Argentine Grill used to be. as Sheila described, the food was great and if you are not havn Cuban cigars, a tot of Johnny Walker Blue label or some fanct Portuguese wine, then the price is reasonable for their large portions of food.
