This is how my leather mule shoes are suppose to look when completed. Nampa Schatz take note on what mule shoes look like:)

My leather before i cut it. The brown leather is kidskin for the interior of the shoe, the pink leather is lamb skin for the exterior of the shoe. The small piece of cotton fabric is for the flower (or butterfly) in front. Still making up my mind on the flower/butterfly issue. Any suggestions...email me...

Sanding the soles: Sanding is definately the hardest part in shoemaking by hand. I know that teh soles look abnormally big in front but wait till next week, it will change:).

My leather pieces for the construction of the mules, after i have cut them out(see picture 2 above.) I will add the two mink leather tails as decoration on the shoes. Where i do not know yet...so followers feel free to suggest any good ideas:)
