Fish , fish everywhere
My recent trip to Katima has left me with not only enough Omega 3's from the fresh fish, but a refreshing insight on what local "riverside" food is really all about.
Katima Open Market...rock solid nshima ( their version is not soft at all), and the vibrant colors of kitenges, My Future is My Choice tshirts or any other free tshirts you get from USAID volunteers. The food was cheap, delicious and prepared in a clean area.

Major issue was the cloth used to dry your hands after rinsing in the murky COLD water...hmmm the rag was greasy and held together by 5 strings! As we used to say at 14C " you could find the cure for ebola.." on it.

Fish N$6.00, one scoop Nshima $3.00, Spinach $4.00...licking your fingers clean PRICELESS.
